  • How frequently should I attend?
    Sessions are usually weekly.
  • Where are you located?
I offer face-to-face appointments from comfortable therapy rooms in Epsom and Banstead, Surrey. I also offer online sessions.
  • How long is each session?
Each session is 50 minutes. This is known as a therapeutic hour.
  • Is therapy confidential?
Everything discussed in therapy is confidential and will not be disclosed to anyone without your prior consent. The only exceptions to this are legally obliged disclosures such as acts of terrorism, drug trafficking and money laundering, and court orders or subpoenas. Disclosure can also take place for safeguarding reasons, including child protection and the protection of vulnerable adults or if you are at risk of suicide or serious self-harm. I abide by the BACP’s Ethical Framework for Counselling Professions. Personal information is stored in line with GDPR requirements.
  • How much do you charge?
My fee is £70 per session for individual counselling sessions, payable 48 hours in advance by bank transfer.
  • What should I expect in the first session?
In our first session we will start to get to know each other and find out what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to change. We will discuss your priorities and how we can work together. The first session provides an opportunity for us to get to know each other better.
